I used to be head chef and co-owner of Organica: The Living Cuisine in San Francisco from 98-99, open 1 year. It had previously been Jeremy Saffron and Renee Underkoffler's Raw Experience for a year and before that Juliano's Juliano's Raw Living Foods for 3 years. Jeremy Saffron and Juliano Brotman were my teachers. I learned and channeled the gourmet twist of Juliano and the LOVE energy and knowledge of Jeremy in to my own transformational intuitive exotic gourmet live cuisine. This week we have a guest that's very dear to our hearts, and who has been a figure in the psytrance scene in San Francisco since its beginning days. One of the most honest and professional promoters here, working with him is a delight. Oh, and he's also one of the best DJs in the Bay Area, having been spinning for over 10 years. We're very happy to have MICHAEL LIU play for us, and he has requested an opening slot, which we've extended for him. Afterwards will be a tag-team set by SENTIENT and RANDOM. Hide the kids!

Oh my God! Can I say that again, wait oh my GOD!! Where else but in San Francisco can we hear Highko and Chromatone play for free outside by the water in an industrial site on a wed night/thurs morning to like 20 people? I had a personal set ~seeeing as I was the only one dancing for a bit~ I'd never have thought anybody would dare make a psy-trance remix of Salt 'n' Pappa's "push it" but Chromatone did... and he did it right! I was already all worked up after hearing Highko, and that just made me blow my load.
Did I mention Highko was so fucking amazing! Yay for free outdoor parties out the back of a pick-up truck. FUCK YEAH!!

Burning Man Camp Teknoasis Music Lineup

Yes cats and kittens, there will be a ton of music-oriented camps this year, not least of which (HOPEFULLY) will be Teknoasis, a camp assembled by Bay and Fresno friends and myself, and populated by folks from all around the world (literally). Our intent is to provide a multi-speakered surround environment in collaboration with software guru Catharsis to showcase electronic sounds of all types Monday through Friday night. If you've got the time or compunction, we'd love to have you drop by! See below for the list of all our aural attractions.

From the Penninsula and South Bay:

Take the I-280 North to SF
Take the CESAR CHAVEZ STREET exit toward CESAR CHAVEZ
Turn Right on CESAR CHAVEZ - go 0.2
Turn Left on 3RD ST - go 0.3 mi
Turn Left on 24TH ST

Once you have turned left on 24th, please find somewhere to park legally.
Once you have parked, from 24th street head back Towards 3rd street.
Follow 24th street til it dead ends at a gate, from here you will hear
the music, follow the path and it will lead you to the party.

From the East Bay
take 80 West across the bay bridge into sf.
Take 101 South
Exit Cesar Chavez, be sure to take Cesar Chavez EAST
Make a right on 3rd st
Make a right on 24th street

Once you have turned on 24th, please find somewhere to park legally.
